NOBLE BLOOD, ADTHEKVNG

Nigerian born teenage singer, rapper, songwriter, Adam-Onum Wesley Oche, known popularly by his stage "Adthekvng" is a rising star in the Nigerian hip-hop industry with his divergent flows.

We asked Adthekvng how he would define his sound and he said...

"I love communicating through music, it's my language... I get inspiration from everything and music is my way of expressing that when I put that over a beat, it's just amazing"

We reviewed his lastest release, Spike Lee, it's a masterpiece. The vibe is just hard to find nowadays in the Nigerian alternative hip-hop scene. We asked him what inspired this track and he said

"Funny, my nephew told me about Follow Me Reason by Zilla Oaks, Eeskay and Psycho YP, I was like fuck it lets vibe... So I was vibing to the song in the shower when the hook came in I was like... what if I was on this song too... then I freestyled the entire spike Lee in the shower recording myself my phone so I won't forget... then I called one of my producers and told him to make a beat, Once he did, I went over and made fire"

Of course, The Chill Cult got exclusives, we can't help ourselves. Adthekvng has an EP in the works titled "This Is Not", no official release date. All we can do is support and anticipate!
